Am on with depakote for biploar hypo mania. Was on Geodon and too sedating, Thoughts of death. Tremors really bad treated with cogentin. then got blurred vision and urinary retention. Seroquel was excellent. Increased weight though. Not as seating as Geodon. Went to XR this past week less sedating less carb cravings. Still on both drugs and feel wonderful!

I am now trying this, have not taken the pills now for a couple of days, (because I love to sleep and it was keeping me up all day, and then I would go to bed around 10:30 p.m. ) so I am back to being cold. I even slept in the day for 3 blissful hours. Does anyone out there knows if this is a problem going on or off the meds like that? Let me know!

I stopped taking this after the first injection(administered at Dr office) 5 hrs after injection, I developed sysytems of spinal menigitis. Severe fever, vertigo and was unable to lift my head or move without severe pain, dizziness and vomitting for 3 DAYS. I was told, flu like symptoms would occur, symtomps were beyond this. I have been told to take stool softeners and the occasional laxative to help with constipation which worsen the bladder feeling. For the past month I have taken 3 stool softeners every night before bed time and the don't help. The stool become so hard, when I wipe I find blood from the lining.
