A year ago I started to notice painful bumps under my left armpit. I had gone to several doctors and they had given me a different antibiotic than Doxycycline. It had been a reoccurring problem for me so I just recently visited the dermatologists where he did tests and found it to be a MRSA infection. I started taking Metformin when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I started at a lower dosage twice daily and moved up to 850mg 3 years later and I haven't really had any problems with my blood sugar since then. Metformin keeps my blood sugar very stable and I am very happy with it.
