My four-day experience with Pristiq was simply not worth hanging on for better effects down the road. I experienced extreme nausea and headaches. For this reason along with the fact that my insurance company would pick up only $11.00 of the $125 per month cost, I stopped cold turkey. Went on the pill for cramps specifically, but the WHOLE first month i had unbareable abdominal cramps nearly as bad as the actual menstrual cramps. As soon as this eased away with the second-third month pill pack, the side effects hit me phsychologically. I've become very moody and intolerant to EVERYTHING. My anxiety has gone through-the-roof and I plan to make an appointment as soon as i have a free day to make an appointment to change prescriptions.

This doesn't work for me. I have marked that it raises my stress level because, like another poster, it stresses me out when I go hiking and I can't be sure I will live through an asthma emergency. Luckily Advair keeps me OK.

it was kind of annoying have to take the antibiotics 2 times a day. plus the added fact that it messes with birth control, made things difficult. other than that it was better taking the meds instead of getting lyme disease

just an FYI. If you feel a Yeast infection coming on put about TBSN of Apple cider vinegar in cup of water and douche once. It works wonders for me. Hopefully it will work wonders for you too. Or alternatively, you can use about 1-2 drops tea tree oil in tbsn of melted coconut oil and dip a plastic tampon in it - let it soak it up for 20-30 minutes and use overnight. For the first year that I was taking Yaz it was great - regular and much lighter periods, zero cramps, zero PMS. It was really wonderful considering I used to have very heavy and irregular periods, extremely horrible cramps, and pretty bad PMS (irritability, mood changes, bloating, fatigue, appetite increase, etc.).
