First it almost destroyed my liver. Then it attacked my arm and leg muscles and after 3 years they have not fully recovered. I have a neighbor and x brother in law that were on it and both got diabeties and that can be caused from it also. This stuff is pure poison as I ask many while out shopping if they are on it or a family member and about 1/2 say yes or they know someone that takes it and many suffer damage from it. I take Oatstraw and milky tops as a strong infusion ( 1 cup dried herb per liter boiling water, infused for 4 hours) I will drink the liter of infusion throughout the day. By infusing the herb in water for several hours, you extract all the wonderful vitamins and minerals that are essential to a healthy nervous system that standard 5-10 min infusions and tinctures or pills do not extract.

Completely loved the convienience of the NuvaRing, seemed that every month the side effects got progressively worse, started out with a headache that lasted a week, then each month I would get a headache the day I would put a new ring in, eventually I ended up with severe diarrhea that I couldnt even eat and left me with horrible abdominal cramping. Drug was helpful in the short-term (6 months); decided to quit with a quick 6-week taper 3 years ago because of weight gain, loss of motivation for virtually any activity, and overwhelming feeling of physical malaise; experienced truly horrific withdrawal symptoms (see www.paxilprogress.org for others' experiences) had to go back on drug; have now completed 1st year in what will be a 2-year taper off this drug. Stay far away from this drug; there are much better options out there for you.

My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension.
