I have had Graves disease for twomyears now. The first approach was a gradully reducing dose of carbimazole, from 40mg down to 5mg. This took approximately a year. I tolerated the carbimazle well, though can relate the commentsvre metallic taste in the mouth and and upset tummy at dose change time. This lasted approximately three days until my body adjusted. My migraines usually last 24-36 hours. Naratriptan wears off after about 12-18 hours, so I often have to take another dose. The information sheet does not discuss this possibility, only what to do if ineffective. Some of apparent side effects are/may be a symptom of the migraine itself, i.e. dizziness, drowsiness, headache, eye pressure, concentration problems.

I was given the first 2 rounds of injections at the advice of my OB/Gyn after the birth of my son. My health insurance then lapsed, so I had to wait on the third. I am 28 years old, and just had my first abnormal pap ever after having these injections. Upon further testing, I was diagnosed with high risk HPV (not sure of the exact strain).
