I'm aware that the drug should not be taken with alcohol, but as I drink regularly I figured I could predict the results. I planned on just a more intensified reaction to alcohol or maybe a feeling of light headed-ness. Turns out, it causes (to me at least) blackouts and erratic behavior after only two or three drinks. After a year on this drug i expeirenced severe hip , thigh .leg muscle pain .Slight numbness in both feet with a slight feeling of pins and needles. Unable to carry out any heavy work in early mornings. A feeling of muscle shrinkage which was felt in early mornings when getting out of bed. Also effecting sexual performance. Advil is a great OTC medicine for minor pains like headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It has been effective for me while not producing any negative side effects. However, it may not work as well on more stronger and long-term pains.

I find that the Qualaquin does not act as fast as previous quinine did. Usually takes 15 minutes or more to realize leg cramp effects. Sometines takes 2 tablets for compete relief.
