I have been suffering from a degenerative joint problem with my spine for about 4 years now. I take vicodin when feeling queezy sounds better than being in pain. Taking it for longer periods (ie... every day for a week) causes me to have itching spells. I prefer percocet but it is harder to get off that stuff. I was diagnosed with myoclonus by a neurologist a year ago, although I had suffered from it a couple of years before hand. An MRI scan and EEG failed to show any abnormalities, however I was diagnosed with epilepsy and perscribed the anti- epileptic drug Levetiractam (Keppra). The Keppra reduced the intensity of my myoclonus but not the fequency so I have been perscribed Clonazepam. I have minimal side effects, if any. I do wish that it was an oral medication. It is supposed to last 24 hours, but it lasts more like 20 hours.

I am taking Meloxicam for disc degeneration L4-L5 -disc buldge putting pressure on nerve. Since taking this medication I have started to have trouble with Sciatica. It appears that Meloxicam is not reducing the inflammation as well as Celebrex. Unfortunately, I cannot take Celebrex due to a sensitivity to the medication (hive reaction). Meloxicam is also causing dizziness and constipation as well as insomnia.
