I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.

im 50 and been a musician and janitor all life . 2 years ago once in a while right arm problems . the last month very bad, i can not extend arm out over acoustic guitar without extreme pain in arm between shoulder and elbow . reaching behind in car or to get wallet to painfull to use right arm anymore so i use left . vacume left only . try to do most things lefty now . at night tough to sleep through . if flat, weight of arm makes shoulder ache . cant sleep on right side = bad arm . left some... Three years ago, I began taking Piroxicam for my arthritis. Upon taking it I was unaware of the horrible side effects. The medication helped my pain and i was very satisified, although I now suffer from gum disease, bacterial infection, gum bleeding, and buss filled pockets in my mouth. I've paid over 2000 dollars in dental pills to repair the damage the medication has caused me.
