Benadryl works great for me- that is, it works fast and relieves all of my allergy symptoms (which are very severe). However, it makes me extremely drowsy, so unfortunately I cannot take it if I have anything to do.

Vyvanse is the only drug I've taken since I was diagnosed with ADD. I'm 47, so I can tell you it's not just for children. It really works, too. If anything, I have to be more careful with prioritizing my tasks, because with Vyvanse, it's easy to hyperfocus on whatever is in front of me. The drug lasts at least 8 hours. I suffered Panic Attacks, Depression, Anxiety, Heart Palpitations, ans convulsions while using microgestin for 5 years. I lived in a state of shock all day every day. I was in and out of emergancy rooms and doctors offices. I did not know that microgestin was causing all of my symptoms until I stopped taking it 4 months ago. None of the doctors put 2 and 2 together. Within a week of stopping the pill, I felt like a completely different person. I love my new life.
