I have had diarrhea for about 4 weeks now and I believe it's related to taking the Zoloft. Does anyone know if this side effect will go away? I started taking Zoloft in the beginning of March for my anxiety and feel great besides this horrible problem. I'm hoping my body will adapt so I don't have to switch medications.

I have been pleased with the results - Dr. prescribed Valtrex to "shorten" any outbreaks, but so far, have not had any outbreaks. I had been taking 1 gm pill for about two months, then lessened the dosage to .5 gm.

I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. A year ago, I was put on a regimen of vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, etc., and completely cleaned up my diet. It was recommended that I also introduce Candex, which I did. Anything to feel better! I like the medication and it works, but I just don't like the pink color, for some reasons. But the pinkcolor is good as well, because it helps me to identify it easily, as I don't know many pink medications.

This drug put me in the ER 3 times. Its extremely dangerous to take it. DO NOT GET ON THIS DRUG PERIOD. The side effects and the withdrawls outweigh any benefit it allegedly has. Do research and talk to your doctor about different drugs BUT do not go on this one if you value your life at all
