I was given the first 2 rounds of injections at the advice of my OB/Gyn after the birth of my son. My health insurance then lapsed, so I had to wait on the third. I am 28 years old, and just had my first abnormal pap ever after having these injections. Upon further testing, I was diagnosed with high risk HPV (not sure of the exact strain). I've used Metformin for about two years now. I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and was prescribed Metformin in order to help me keep my weight down and decrease my apatite; I am also on birth control. Both pills are keeping my menstrual cycle regular. The only thing that is bothersome about Metformin is that, for the first few days when starting up the pills, I get nauseous and have an upset stomach/diarrhea, but it's nothing that Pepto-Bismol can't handle.

I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. I thought the strength of my memory was lowering due to my age (33) .. but perhaps it is related to the generic Xanax. But on a positive, this solution has had the least amount of side-affects over any other anti-anxiety option for me personally. Anti-depressants put a lot of weight on me and took away my libido. No sign of that now and I've been on 1mg XR for well over a year now.

I felt like I had taken the wrong medicine. I got worse. for about 2 weeks and then for another3-4 weeks of and on I had attacks. the anxiety was the worst I ever had. I really thought I was going mad. Until I finally convinced myself and lots of theropy that it was working. I also have sharp zaps in the head still to this day. I,ve been on it for about 3 months.
