I have occasional asthma (usually activity or allergy induced) and I used to use Albuterol before it was reformuated. The ProAir HFA is not as effective and does not come out of the dispenser very well. While it does help a bit with my asthma attacks the side effects are unpleasant and I avoid using the inhaler unless I completely have to. The side effects only last about 45 mins but they are still unpleasant.

Everyone responds differently to medications. Cymbalta has done wonders for me, and is the most tolerable medicine I've ever taken. There are absolutely no lasting effects of Cymbalta once you stop taking it by the way. It sounds like you have some other issues causing these problems, not the medicine.

July 2009 was when I noticed that my menstral cycle was freaking out and there was no more 28 days in between. I was lucky to get 18 days. Also, they were lasting longer - instead of 5-7 days, they were 7-10 days and heavy cramping, bleeding, and pain. Now - I am 40 years old. I used this drug in my insulin pump. I have to take a bolus and a recommended amount prescribed by my doctor according to my A1C. In my opinion it is not much different from the insulin I take now. The only reason I changed insulin is because my new insulin was more readily available to my endocrinologist.

Severe Nerve pain following surgery to remove a benign tumor. At a very high dose, the pain is controlled, numbed which is a blessing. Side effects arent real good though. Dry Mouth is real bad, Drowsy and tired, loss of sexual function, mental fog, loss of memory, confusion, twitching muscle spasms. Have tried other meds, but this is the only one that has controlled the pain, and unfortunately that makes it worth it for now.
