One of the side effects of birth control pills is abnormal vaginal bleeding. That could mean anything from spotting for a day or two to practically being on your period all the time. You may just be experiencing this because it is your first month, and your body hasn't had time to adjust to the new hormones. I have had a great experience with Femcon because it controls my endometriosis and regulates my period. I have had a bad experience with other birth controls. I was a lunatic on Loestrin so I was relieved when I found Fem con.

This drug is the difference between whether I sleep or not.. If I forget or do not take it, because I am out of it, I do NOT sleep at all, until about 4-5 am. I LOVE this drug and for me, it has virtually NO side effects.
