The inactive ingredients of Diovan are colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, iron oxides, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol 8000, and titanium dioxide.

Diovan is commonly used to treat conditions related to the cardiovascular system, such as high blood pressure and congestive heart failure.

This medication functions by blocking angiotensin (hormone) in turn relaxes the blood vessels, thereby dialating them. This belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers.

About Valsartan
