I do weekly immunoglobulin subQ infusions. I used Chloraprep once a week, prior to insterting the 5 needles that are necessary for 1 treatment of immunoglobulin, . For the past 18 weeks, I've been using Chloroprep and have suffered with huge (4-5 inches) and burning welts at each infusion site. The welts would last for 2-3 days and required me to use prednisone and Benedryl to reduce the itching. My skin around the hives was very sensitive and felt like it had gotten very sunburned. Taken for anxiety disorder. Made anxiety worse. Side effects offset any possible benefits. Discontinued after 10 weeks. Withdrawal very difficult.

After 7 open heart surgeries I had to take prednisone. The hunger and mood swings associated with this drug were awful. I gained a lot of weight, especially in my face. I also had diabetes while on the medication. But they say the medicine has its purpose.

When I began to use cymbalta I noticed dizziness, rapid heartbeat, increased bloodpressure, however fibro pain seemed quite improved as well as energy. Difficult to sleep. I deal with long term chronic pain (1980) fibro diagnosis, arthritis, lymphedema & lipidema. I wanted to "believe". Became Zombie like. Memory loss severe as well as cognitive abilities.
