I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Also, when I broke my foot and had tendonitis I was given prescription 800mg ibuprofen and it was the best thing for the pain and inflammation. I would rather take Ibuprofen then any o... the only pro that i saw to seroquel was that it didn't seem to cause the obesity as bad as risperidal.

I guess the insulin injections lower my blood sugar, it is just satisfying enough. The thing is that I have to take it everyday, and injections, I don't really like it!

I have been very please with Humira. When I was diagnosed with RA and PSA, I wasn't sure I could ever get relief. I was wrong. Within 2 weeks my Psoriasis cleared completely and the pain, swelling, and fatigue lifted shortly thereafter. I have to admit, it is not a pleasure to always know I have to give myself the shot, but the relief I get outweighs the fear. I actually have a life back. I have had to add Comtan to regime because Carbidopa/Levodopa doesn't work for me on a consistent basis...it may work for a few minutes, to an hour or two or not at all...it's like the medication doesn't have the same amount of chemicals in it consistently.

At first the drug didn't work. However when I started taking it regularly, same time everyday, it worked. My doctor told me to not drink anything 1 hour before I took it or 8 hours after I took it. That was a major pain and sometimes I found myself dehydrated.
