Developed Parkinson's after 4 yrs of Lipitor therapy for "primary prevention". No fly Hx of neurodegenerative ds; no fly hx of cardiovascular ds. Just mildly elevated TC. Am aware of others who feel Parkinson's due to lipitor, and 2 who feel ALS due to lipitor. NyQuii works great for me when I have a cold. I usually have to take it twice during the night but it clears up my cough and my stuffy nose long enough to let me rest.

I am taking Meloxicam for disc degeneration L4-L5 -disc buldge putting pressure on nerve. Since taking this medication I have started to have trouble with Sciatica. It appears that Meloxicam is not reducing the inflammation as well as Celebrex. Unfortunately, I cannot take Celebrex due to a sensitivity to the medication (hive reaction). Meloxicam is also causing dizziness and constipation as well as insomnia.
