Retin-A Micro was prescribed to me by my dermatologist for my acne. He said that it would increase my break outs only to speed up the process and treat my acne problem more quickly, "get all of it out from under the skin" as he put it. I was very nervous about it, and I thought my face was going to erupt after using it. I honestly didn't notice much of an increase in my acne condition. Ibuprofen is usually very helpful for headaches and period pain. Although, I would rather take fewer pills to diminish that pain.

I have used Aloe Vera for different skin rashes and for the occasional sun burn and it has always pulled through. I have not seen any side effects, but I've often had to supplement my use of Aloe Vera with other prescribed medications.
