I have experienced extreme incontinence after only 2 doses (1 2mg tablet and 1 4mg tablet).. I have been really really tired and confused and have had difficulty driving and remembering things I've done during the day. Needless to say I'm taking myself off this medication. I don't know why my doctor put me on it in the first place; I'm not schizophrenic.

Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. The tender breast, and bloating were not pleasent as well as the sever sensitivity to emotions, mostly crying to Disney commercials. Other than that it did do its job in preventing pregnancy.

amitriptyline was added to my other medications because I was grinding my teeth at night and not getting rested sleep. This medication had to be increased after taking 50 mg/day for several years and is now back to working pretty well.

I spotted continually as well as mood swings. Depression like you wouldn't believe and I was so tired, it was hard to stay awake through a whole day. My second month I got my period heavier than I've ever had so I quit immediately. This pill should be taken off the market asap. If you want to go generic, I recommend Jolesa. This one has worked for me.

I am only taking Adalat because I am still nursing my daughter - as soon as she is weaned, I am going back to Micardis. Adalat is awful for me. My legs and feet turn bright red and feel really warm, plus I have a sense of dizziness, and it is hard for me to function normally. I would not recommend this drug, unless you have no other choice.
