i wish that the manufacturer would give some indication of the length of time we can expect to experience side efects so that in stopping the medication ,we werent throwing the baby out with the bathwater.we all accept that all meds have side effects, but the severity and duration of them is difficult to assessfor someone new to the drug thanks for a very useful and informative source of information

While I await my latest PSA results, I need to find out why my back, particularly along the spine, hurts so much, with almost nothing that helps. The pain radiates arbitrarily across my lower back, then up to under one shoulder blade or the other, and sometimes both. This pain radiates around the rib cage creating a "pulling" feeling into the chest, often causing related discomfort in the stomach area (not nausea). this is the worst drug I have taken and fought with Dr regarding it he does not belive on all the side effects listed with it or how it has effected. They say to report them right away and severe apperntly he does not know the drug.....

After initially trying prozac, with no effect, i immediately felt less anxiety on starting mirtazapine. It took a few months, with increasing dose, to notice an inmprovement with my mood. Worth persevering with.
