I suffered head trauma with multiple lacerations to my face and lips, along with severe swelling and bruising. I was prescribed vicodin to relieve my pain. When I took the vicodin I felt less socially inhibited and talked much more frequently than normal.

This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't been prescribed Ibuprofen following a surgery. It did a lot of good, but I still felt and looked horrible at the time.

Tylenol is fairly effective for me when treating headaches and other pain related problems. However, it usually takes longer to work than Excedrin or Advil. I prefer Advil over other pain relievers.

Like it, but wish there was something a little better. I feel like I should have lost more weight with synthroid, but instead, nothing ever changed after I went hypo from being hyperthyroid.
