I have been having a difficult 2 months of seasonal allergy problems that has left me with a nasty & wicked cough from irritated bronchial tubes. This was the first time I tried Mucinex DM and I have had only 1 pill since starting it last night. First of all I slept through last night without waking up once, and today my cough has been reduced by at least 90%. Now that is a great product!

My doctor weened me off of it in late November, 2009. That lasted about 4 weeks. I was completely out of control with my anger. Anything & everything set me off. Didn't care who it was ; family , friends, co - workers, management personel , people I didn't even know. I would fight or argue with anyone at anytime over anything. Needless to say, after the 4 weeks, my doctor put me back on it. after about another 3 weeks, I was much better and back under control.

About 2 hours after taking the pill every morning I'm in a bad mood and it stays that way for most of the day. I have noticed that I am feeling more depressed and irritable... totally not me. Starting on day 1, had bad metallic taste in mouth, nausea, and chest discomfort-indigestion all day long. Started taking probiotic on day 3, also began taking pills with a half-glass of milk instead of water, and sipping on gingerale/ nibbling saltine crackers during the day - symptoms much milder now except the metallic taste is still strong. Am just finishing day 5.

Taking Lupron shots to make me go into menapause so I can take Aromasin for breast cancer. Fatigue is bad. Hot flashes, sweats, chills, fever off and on, depression is bad, now my hands/fingers are numb/tingling and hurt. I hate this drug. For 4 days after I get the shot I am in bed, I cry and I"m depressed and I feel so sick like I have the flu and I hurt all over. I think this drug is killing me.
