I'd been on Zocor for about 2 months when the painful attacks in my arms started. I went through every test known to man, heart cath, MRI, MRA, EMG, endoscopy, various blood work. All came back negative and my pain was attributed to cervical spondylosis. I was given Neurontin, then Celebrex and Tramadol by my neurologist to deal with the pain. Oxycodone HCl is far and away the best drug available in the UK for chronic pain. The problem is the blatant lie on box and PIL that the duration of action is 12 hours. In my experience I begin to feel pain at around six and am in agony again by 6.5-7 hours after taking. My doctor refuses point blank to issue me recue medications which I have to obtain through other services than the NHS. I have been told to take stool softeners and the occasional laxative to help with constipation which worsen the bladder feeling. For the past month I have taken 3 stool softeners every night before bed time and the don't help. The stool become so hard, when I wipe I find blood from the lining.
