I had really bad hives last month and was prescribed Zantac to prevent the spread. It was very effective but I had to take it once a day for 10 days along with another medication. By the eighth day, my hives were completely gone.

I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. I started spironolactone for my hormonal acne as an alternative to birth control. It takes about 3 months to work, but it works very well! For me, the spironolactone worked very well for 6 months, but has been working less effectively in the last few months
