I have only just realised how many problems, I had in the last 2 years, were side effects from taking Simvastatin. I may be one of a small minority but if your medical checkups are only once a year and you haven't been appraised of the potential side effects then you suffer unnecessarily. When the doctor who prescribes the drug for you is not astute, or enlightened, enough to pick up your problems as side effects then this just compounds the problems.

This was a very expensive drug that did absolutely nothing for me. It didn't prevent an oncoming migraine when taken at onset, nor did it dull the pain once the migraine was full blown. I didn't experience any side effects, but it did nothing for the pain.

I think that my body is building a tolerance to it because it takes more pills to work. I like it because it puts me to sleep but the last time I had a headache I had to take 3 within 2 hours to get to sleep.

Didn't do anything for my depression and Anxiety, but my severe migraines have just about disappeared, so that makes it worth to keep taking and I will ocntinue taking it as long as it helps my migraines as all other migraine medication didnt ever help.

I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. It is making my hair fall out. I didn't know what was causing it at first, but I've narrowed it down. My hair is so thin now. I'm hoping it will grow back now that I've discontinued it. If anybody else has had this problem, please let me know, and let me know if your hair grew back. Thanks.
