I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. I would get off of these drugs and go for acupuncture and herbal treatments. It's not worth the side effects. When I took lisinopril for 3 months, I felt like I had the flu the entire time. My BP was only high at the PCP's office because they always managed to tick me off before I got in to see the Dr, then had to wait an hour or more. I showed the Dr the list I kept of my BP when I took it when I wasn't there and it was usually around 100/60-120/70.....I don't think I ever needed this to b... View full comment

I have developed cystocele (mild) and sometimes notice the ring, but before that never noticed anything. Positive effect on blood pressure which was too high on the pill. I need my computer calendar to inform me when to take it out though, as I do sometimes forget. All the positive effects of birth control- less acne, hair and skin less oily, smaller, predictable periods and light to no cramps. I experienced a change in breast size though, over the pill.

Sometimes my throat gets coated in mucus, but I feel that is a result of my cold and not the medication. I am really satisfied with Mucinex. It is the only thing that really takes care of my cough.

It really works well for me during allergy season. It treats every symptom I have much better than other allergy meds that i have tried in the past. Another great thing about it is that, it's inexpensive and over the counter.
