This is my second round with Lisinopril. I took it previously, lost weight and came off of it. Then, after life's innumerable issues, my BP went back up. I've been on it now for about another year and the symptoms are worse than ever. I've gained an additional 30 pounds that I can seem to lose. I also noticed a change in side effects when I change from one pill-pak to the next one. Epileptic seizures are easier to deal with and less frequent, but I wish I didn't have to deal with them at all.

I took Yasmin thinking it would give me almost identical benefits as Yaz, and Yasmin is available generic (whereas Yaz is not). However, within a month of taking this oral contraceptive my physicial and emotional state got much worse. My appetite was out of control, I ruminated over everything, etc.

Tums helps alleviate minor stomach problems. However it does not help for anything which causes a lot of pain. It helps with minor annoyances. Yes it does help some pain go away, but it isnt pain that is unbearable, it is just as easy to wait out the pain.

I take vitamin C to improve my immune health. Overall, I think it works but can't really prove it because I never had frequent cold symptoms to begin with. I figure a pill a day can't hurt.
