I was forced to take this drug for a colonoscopy after I vehemently told the Dr that I didn't want it and to use a painkiller and not an amnesiac. He told me he knew best and just used Versed. I have IBS, I was wide awake in excrutiating pain, tears were running down my face and I tried to scream that I felt like a weedwhacker was turned on inside of me, but I was totally paralized!!! Well i've only been taking it for a month and I have had my period for about 2 weeks now. I started it 2 weeks before i was supposed to. I usually only have cramps one day but I've had them for a week straight. I'm giving it another month to even let it even out.
