It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. After being made hypothyroid due to RAI treatment, I still feel that levothyroxine can do a better job of affecting the emotional and psychological side of treatment, too. At this time I feel that it doesn't work well with all areas of hypothyroidism's effects.

It helps some, but not a lot. I still have horrible reactions when I am around my worst allergens (ie: dogs, cats) even when I have taken Claritin 24 Hour that morning. For general seasonal allergies it does help keep them at bay enough that I can function. It can also help to dispel some of my headaches, if they are allergy and/or congestion-based.

For me Lexapro was of great help. It reduced my major depression and obsessions significantly. Lexapro is much better than Paroxetine, Duloxetine in terms of sideffects (both of which have so much sideffects atleast for me). Paxil and duloxetine have many bad reports from users. Best to start with Lexapro, Sertraline Or Fluxetine. These have been shown to be most safer for all in general

What side effects do most people experience from Gelhist and related drugs?
