Vyvanse is the only drug I've taken since I was diagnosed with ADD. I'm 47, so I can tell you it's not just for children. It really works, too. If anything, I have to be more careful with prioritizing my tasks, because with Vyvanse, it's easy to hyperfocus on whatever is in front of me. The drug lasts at least 8 hours. Started taking 10 milligrams and had a lot of strong symptoms, wasn't able to sleep at night, had an extremely dry mouth, and experienced constipation. It also caused a rapid heartbeat until a pacemaker was put in. Now doctors have reduced dosage to 1 milligram daily and side effects have decreased.
