Oxycodone HCl is far and away the best drug available in the UK for chronic pain. The problem is the blatant lie on box and PIL that the duration of action is 12 hours. In my experience I begin to feel pain at around six and am in agony again by 6.5-7 hours after taking. My doctor refuses point blank to issue me recue medications which I have to obtain through other services than the NHS. day 2, nausea,diahrrea, day3, nausea, day4, constipation and,symptoms eased somewhat, day 5,constpation, severe nausea, metallic taste, trouble eating due to nausea and lack of appetite.I am in day five and considering giving up the med and suffering the consequences. I wonder if this self inflicted torture is worth it.
