Have been on 200 mg Zoloft for five years and it's effect were beginning to wane. My doctor weaned me down to 100 mg of Zoloft and added 50 mg Pristiq approximately three month ago. The first few weeks on Pristiq I experienced nausea and upset stomach along with severe lethargy. I took it for my strep throat, and while the pills were so large and difficult to take, within 24 hours i was able to tell that it was working. te down side was that i was supposed to take it for 10 days and all symptoms were one completely within 6 and 7, so i felt like i ws over medicating.
