I went from a healthy weight of 140 (normal for my size) to 180 in less than 2 months. It came from nowhere, no changes in diet were made to have effected the weight gain. I was exercising a couple times a week, I have gained and lost weight throughout my life, but never in a quick amount of time. i was on yaz before and ortho-tricyclen lo before that. ortho mad em gain a bunch of weight and i had really bad depression and anxiety. I went on Yaz and did'nt have many side effects except a drop in sex drive. However after two years i started getting abnormal periods - where i would bleed for a month at a time and got anemic. I wish they would come out with an Excedrin Migraine PM. If I have really bad migraines these pills don't help enough.

My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow. Took this medication to stop my preterm labor; it was AWEFUL. ALthough it worked wonderful and stopped the contractions quicky, the side effects were horrible for me. I also suffer from Anxiety so that may have intensified the side effects.
