I think mentally it was discouraging to know that I had to take this because it is a private area. The medicine itself worked but I just never wanted to talk to anyone about it.

Although there are a lot of unwanted side effects,these are nothing in comparison to the crippling migraines I used to suffer daily. As a young woman with a toddler I can't be in bed 5 days out of 7 in a week with migraine and this wonder drug is the only one which works for me.

amitriptyline was added to my other medications because I was grinding my teeth at night and not getting rested sleep. This medication had to be increased after taking 50 mg/day for several years and is now back to working pretty well.

It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. I started taking Vyvanse when Adderall XR stopped working for me about 2 years ago. At first the side effects were strong ( I started at 50 mg) including social reclusion, irritability, dry mouth, stomach problems, and loss of appetite- the problem was I didn't notice the social side effects- I just wanted to get things done and nothing else mattered.
