To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. Works well. The only side effect is that my appetite has increased considerably. I have become obsessed with food since starting on Crestor. I am left with the choice of either increasing daily exercise (which I already do considerably jogging 4 miles a day) or accepting the discomfort as I ignore my frequent hunger pangs. If I give in to my appetite my weight increases in spite of jogging 28 miles a week.
