Nothing in the whole legal world worked for me until my doctor reluctantly prescribed Tussionex for my constant and uncontrollable coughing- due to smog and vog (volcanic stuff in Hawaii combined with pollution), sleepless nights, weight loss, mental and emotional anguish, and mild bronchitis, asthma, and panic attacks due to severe coughing and choking. After trying several other medications, Amrix was the first to relieve the intense constant pain in my head. I was extremely tired the first couple of weeks after I started taking it. Especially in the first week, I couldn't even trust myself to take care of my children because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I also had problems with my face breaking out and extreme dry mouth. Prednisone

Started taking 10 milligrams and had a lot of strong symptoms, wasn't able to sleep at night, had an extremely dry mouth, and experienced constipation. It also caused a rapid heartbeat until a pacemaker was put in. Now doctors have reduced dosage to 1 milligram daily and side effects have decreased.

Smaller dosage with the option to self medicate every second or third day provides a rythm I can cope with and live with and the benefits are great for me. I don't get the personality change I did when I tried other anti depressent and drugs for the fibromyalgia and feel much more balanced. This has lead me to go back to school full time! and plan for a good career I can choose my own hours with good pay and benefits.

I'm taking the highest dosage for the solus pen once a day and have not noticed any change in blood sugar. Had to get off metformin because of digestion problems which are somewhat better now, but still persistent at times. I'm going to see if doctor will change everything next office visit.

I can't imagine taking this for another 4 years. It was hard enough to get through cancer treatments, but to have to deal with this on top of all that is unconceivable. Trying to keep my vigor and conviction to heal, but without sleep and so much pain it is difficult to say the least. Carbimazole

I suffer from an overactive thyroid problem and am aged 35, I never used to get any side affect from Carbimazole. After stopping taking the tablets for a few years I am back on them again. However, I cannot take them without being violently sick.
