In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. Not one doctor will consider Liptor has any side affects. I feel horrible on it and it does more harm than good. I intend on stopping the medication as the doctors will not recognize any problem with them. I am going to holistic medicine as the physicians have no medicine available for this problem. The side affects I have suffered is immense from this product. No more Atorvastin.
