Trying to get off Atenolol, only been on 25mg for the past five weeks, but I have felt constantly dizzy, always tired, even feel a little down but this is probably cause I feel so unwell on these horrible tablets, Yes they do slow your heart rate down and they definently lower your blood pressure but side effects are so horrible. Weaning off them right now.

Started out great on this, but after the first year side effects have worsened. I can barely stay awak and feel like a walking zombie during active days. I am usually easy going, but have become very moody on this. I am switching as soon as my dr. gives the go ahead.

I've found this to be quite effective and I've actually been able to switch to taking it just once a day (should probably discuss this with my doctor, huh?). However, I am very concerned about long term effects, and I don't like being dependent on it, which is why I'm taking this survey. Hope other Advair users will add their experiences.

Hi. Just want to share my experience. I took Candex as indicated for about 2 weeks. I experienced pretty severe diarrhea the entire time. I work at home. I would not have been able to do this if I was not able to be flexible with my time. It got to a point where I had to stop anyway because of the frequency and severity. I take Loestrin mainly as birth control rather than to relieve irregular periods. It's been an effective birth control but it can give me occasional cramping and abdominal pains.

Actually changed my life. Effectively lifted my depression and has allowed me to finally function normally. The only major side effect i've noticed is that when I miss several doses in a row, I get dizzy and my balance is off. This goes away when I resume taking it, though, and is a small price to pay for what it has done.
