I too am hyperthyroid. I was prescribed carbimazole and had an allergic reaction with a skin rash which erupted within days. I then was prescribed PTU, propylithouacil which I initially took at a very high dosage, namely 12 tablets/day and after several weeks lost my taste completely and had bad headaches. My consultant reduced the dosage to two/day after 2 months as I had gone underactive. I gradually regained my taste but then developed pains in my arms so bad I couldn't sleep on my sides... Albuterol definitely helps with breathing difficulty/asthma attacks. However, it does make me jittery initially after use.

I take Klor-Con in combination with other medications to control hypertension. I really do not know which, if any, of my medications are responsible for the aches/pains/bone joint weakness. However, they together control my high blood pressure, so I endure the slight discomfort. Other medications that I've taken for years, include Isosorbide, Furosemide,Amlodipine Besylate and Metoprolol. I was prescribed levofloxacin to relieve my UTI. I was getting ready for a trip when the symptoms started, so I really hoping that it would work quickly. It didn't meet my expectations in that regard and I did experience some side effects, but in the end it got rid of it, so I am satisfied with it.
