This drug is the difference between whether I sleep or not.. If I forget or do not take it, because I am out of it, I do NOT sleep at all, until about 4-5 am. I LOVE this drug and for me, it has virtually NO side effects.

I'm 33 I have been on birth control pills since I was 18, I've been on so many different kinds I can't even count anymore....I've been on Junel for 2 months now, I feel like a lunatic, I cried hysterically over traffic!! I am also having breakout on my back and face...I am stopping this pill tomorrow, unfortunately I already took todays pill...keeping in mind that every woman reacts differently to birth control, Junel is just not for me...i'm considering stopping completely but i'm nervous,... I was prescripted this when I got my wisdom teeth removed. It helped A LOT with the pain but while I was taking it I was always tired and couldn't think clearly. Once I went back to school I could only take it at night because I couldn't focus in my classes.

What was interesting about the drug was how dry it made my skin. My lips were so dry, chapped and red. They always peeled, and my skin seemed so much more dry. Accutane has cured any previous acne I had on my chest and back. From time to time I get a pimple or two, but this is recent. A year after accutane, I was still getting nasty breakouts.
