M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. I've taken Lisinopril for about 12 years. The last year and a half I started to get a "patchy numbness" on the bottom of my feet. I felt that this was most likely due to the addition of Clonidine to my blood pressure Rx's. I told my doctor about this and she then doubled my Clonidine. I have severe fatigue at times, but I don't know if that is caused by the Entocort. Probably the Crohn's is causing the fatigue. I -do- know Entocort really works well. I have tried decreasing or stopping several times over the last couple of years. Immediately I get softer/more stool that looks abnormal/mucus. Feel lousy, etc.
