Taking too early in the morning means I'll have a dry mouth while trying to work/talk with people. Taking too late causes insomnia from the steriod. Occasionally causes a pretty significant headache. I'm only able to take it once/day in the middle of the day due to unplesant side effects. However my breathing has gotten much better

Started taking Topamax on vacation to gradually get up to full dose. Went very slowly--got to full dosage at about 4 weeks. I lost weight, but tried to stick with it because the migraines were so bad, but it only reduced them a little bit. At around the 4-5 week mark I was sitting in my living room feeling semi-suicidal and decided I should read the fine print on the side effects. I was on the study that had Enbrel approved by the FDA. I received great care at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA. I was willing to try anything to improve my desperate health situation. When I joined the study I was basically bedridden. The risk of side effects is well worth the relief from pain and the regained mobility.
