I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. My doctor put me on seasonique to help with ovarian cysts & endometriosis. Even on a low estrogen birth control, I was having very painful periods. I am getting off the drug-have serious side-effects with the prozac and wellbutrin xl--anxiety so bad I have to now take ativan for it to get through-odd thing is I have a good normal day and the next is filled with anxiety. so hard to understand what is going on with that-taking every other day-but if I take it 2 days in a row still get the every other day side-effects. Anyone else have that problem??? Thank You-Sandy

I've taken only immediate release niacin. With twice a day dosing, I've never had any liver issues. Every time I try three times a day dosing, I eventually get elevated liver enzymes.
