My daughter was given Yaz because she had horrible cramps and fatigue during her periods. Within 3 weeks she had pain in the back of her thigh - mostly while walking up stairs. I have used Topamax for almost four years and I am very satisfied with the way that it helped my headaches (both daily and migraines). However, it has caused severe memory and concentration problems. I don't feel as if I can join in intellectual discussions anymore (I went to Harvard) and I am very forgetful. I'm now switching to Lamictal in the hopes that I'll get my brain back. This is a great drug if you don't lose your mind. I would for sure give it a try.

My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow.
