I have been pleased with the results - Dr. prescribed Valtrex to "shorten" any outbreaks, but so far, have not had any outbreaks. I had been taking 1 gm pill for about two months, then lessened the dosage to .5 gm.

Since menopause at age 58, I weighed 135 lb. I quit smoking 2-1/2 years ago and gained 15 lb. Lost that 15 lb. but then was diagnosed with emphysema 6 months after I quit smoking. I am no longer taking this drop I used it to treat my scratched cornea, and it worked wonders in speeding up the process after I was showing a very dangerous turn of events after I went from almost healed to almost blind.
