It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight. Started taking the medicine for malaria for a deployment to Afghanistan. About three weeks into the regiment, started to have vivid and unique dreams that were often violent in nature. This was a side effect but did not bother me. In fact I enjoyed the dreams a lot. I continued to take mefloquine and eventually stopped after I was back in the states. I never got malaria but my buddy got it and he was taking the same amount I got.

i'm almost 75. i take two pills before i play basketball to mask the pain. this works and helps me feel better. i never take any other medications, besides melatonin, which helps me sleep at night.

Sudafed (psuedofedrine) is the best thing out there for sinus congestion & pressure. I use it when I have allergies and it helps with sneezing also, and when I have a cold or flu. I do not experience any negative side effects. Although sometimes it does make me more awake which can be inconvenient at night. Also, buying it from the pharmacy is annoying but it's worth it because it works MUCH better than Sudafed PE (phenylephrine).
