Stage 4 RCC Left kidney removed in Oct 2008. Metastasized to stomach cavity 2010. Treated with Sutent since early June 2010. Side effects unusual but not out of the ordinary based on info Ive read. As of today It seems to be helping but probably to soon to tell for sure. I feel fairly well and have been working right along so thats a positive. Attitude is good as well as support from those around me.

I took Candex for three days, one capsule in the morning with a very large glass of water. I am very sensitive to all kinds of medicine, so I was prepared for the worst. The only thing that seems related in time to the Candex doses was the veins in my hands and fingers dilating (getting really big), making my hands ache and my fingers and palms itch. I took the pill for four months my period was irregular and it didn't help with anything except keeping me from getting pregnant. I started t have pain in my chest and found out I had blood clots in my lungs and neck. I am young healthy i don't smoke rarely ever drink watch my weight, even my doctor was surprised to find that sever of blood clots. Now i can no longer take anything with estrogen.

I switched from Effexor (300mg) to Prestiq (100mg) and was on Prestiq for 2 weeks. It was horrible. My paranoia was horrible, felt like everyone is talking about me behind my back, even feel like one coworker is trying to get me fired. I have at least 1 panic attack a day (never used to have them so much). I'm switching over to effexor. I know that prestiq is basically the same as effexor (already broken down), but maybe my body needed to break the effexor down. I'll keep you updated as... View full comment
