I was prescribed Skelaxin after I was involved in a motor vehicle accident. It takes a good hour to 2 hours to really start working. I still felt some moderate back pain when taking the drug, but overall it helped me get around and do simple movements.

I was prescribed Promethazine after I got my wisdom teeth pulled and was given Percocet and vomited. I also felt naseous after taking pain medicaiton (especially since I was unable to eat much with the medication due to having oral surgery). The Promethazine was amazing because it stopped the nausea and vomiting. It also made me very tired but I didn't mind because it was nice being asleep while I was in pain. I am a 30 yrold woman with RSD I have a brain injury and have been taking narcotics for the last 3 years. I recently 10 days ago switchd o suboxone for painrelief and to ease wthdrawl. Well I am experoenceing headaches, major anxiey, my feet and hands are very swollen in the mornings and very aslleep I developed a bladder/kidney infection as well I am ready to go back to opioates fo pain relief this is hard.
