When I need antibiotics I always take acidophilus to prevent yeast infections, and since I have I haven't gotten one from antibiotics.

I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's! Nothing else has changed, no weight gain, no other drugs or medical condition that could explain the sudden rise. Benzamycin contains benzoyl peroxide so it is quite effective in treating acne. However, the longer I used it, the dryer my skin became. I even used moisturizers and went down from two applications a day to just one. Eventually, I just had to stop taking it. Also, it does not settle on the skin well and all throughout the day I could see the benzamycin on my face even underneath makeup.

HORRIBLE MEDICATION !!!! Cough all of the time, itch and don't get much sleep. Also gained 30 pounds. Would not reccomend this at all. I quit today. Enough is enough, hope it gets out of my system quick. Blood pressure has not dropped very much either.
