Macrobid relieved my symptoms for my UTI ie the burning when I uriniate and pelvic pain however I still had the infection. It only temporarily relieved symptoms and did not get rid of the infection.

I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill. This medication relieved the pain but as a side effect irritability and slight mood changes were noticed and it became slightly addicting, so it wasnt taken anymore to avoid these effects.
